All of our training is conducted in line with NOS standards set by HABIA and lead to NVQ Units in Nail Enhancements:
When you come on a course with All Occasion Nails, you will be taught to the following standards.

Maintaining Standards of Hygiene and Personal Appearance

1)Hygienic Working Practices including Health & Safety at Work and Legislation
2)Hygienic Code of Working i.e. correct sterilisation procedures for Technician and Client
3)Personal Hygiene and appearance
4)Code of Dress

Maintaining Efficient Working Practices

1)Information relating to Client Treatment
2)Efficient methods of working
3)Procedures for handling materials relating to time, cost, effectiveness and client satisfaction
4)Product and Chemical Knowledge - Correct advice on storage, disposal and use

1)Anatomy, Structure and Physiology of Nail

3)Muscles and Bones of the Hand and Foot
4)Layers and Functions of the Skin

Manicure & Pedicure

Checking and assessing Quality

Observe students carrying out procedures to make sure they are done safely, correctly and with simplicity and ease.
Formal test paper to be completed, handouts to be given throughout the course and informal questions to check knowledge and ability. Homework to be set if necessary, and/or further training offered to students not meeting the required standards. Case studies also set if trainer deems necessary.

Certificates

Certificates of Achievement are issued to each student as they reach the required standards. Certificates of Attendance are issued to students that have not ‘passed’. (These are not certificates for insurance, but certificates that students can have to say they have a basic understanding and have attended a course. They are not to be used for professional purposes and will state this)

Further Training Programmes can be conducted by request, and are written as bespoke courses matching individual requirements.
