NAIL TECHNICIAN TRAINER - FULLY QUALIFIED

For this role, you will need to be a fully qualified Nail Technician or Beauty Therapist. You will also be required to have a teaching or training qualification, or be working towards one. You will need to have experience in Acrylic, UV Gel and Fibreglass and silk, and any others are a bonus. Obviously to train someone, you must be confident in talking to people, sometimes in groups, and sometimes in someone's home as a personal one to one course.
All Trainers are expected to be at a very high level of competance to enable them to train another person to a high standard, so therfore please do not apply for this role if you are inexperienced.

You will also be expected to travel your local area and possibly further. We provide accommodation in Hotels or B&B's at our expense if we require you to stay overnight, and we will also reinburse you for certain other expenses.

We are currently recruiting for the above vacancy but you WILL be required to travel to Suffolk for a days assessment at your own expense.

There are a few different Job Opportunities within our organisation. We are always looking for Fully Qualified Trainers to cover their local area, wherever that may be in the UK. We specifically require Fully Qualified Nail Technicians in the East Anglia Area and the North East Area for various dates throughout the year. East Anglia Area may be an Immediate Start depending on experience.

NAIL TECHNICIAN - TRAINEE

AGED 18 + This is a role as described. You will be either just out of training from a college or similar course. When you come to All Occasion Nails, we will ask you to demonstrate your skills, then we will assess your next steps but more then likely, you will shadow a trainer for a period of time then eventually you will start to teach the courses under supervision, until you reach a standard that enables you to teach in any enviroment.

You will need to be confident in your approach to people in a personal one to one environment, and confident in communicating to large groups of students. You should be able to use your own initiative to overcome certain situations. You should be energetic and preferably have your own transport.

PAY

A fully Qualified Nail Technician Trainer can expect to earn £60 per day, plus expenses for a personal one to one course, and around £120 per day, plus expenses for a group course but this will be dependant on the course.

EMPLOYMENT STATUS

You will be working for All Occasion Nails on a Self Employed basis which mean that you will be responsible for your own Tax and National Insurance. This can be beneficial to some people but please do your research before deciding to apply for any vacancy.

ASSESSMENT DAYS

When you first apply for a job with All Occasion Nails, if you meet the requirements, you will be invited to an Assessment Day which will be held in Suffolk, East Anglia for one day. On this day you will demonstrate your skills and be taught some new ones. You will then be offered a contract if both parties are happy to go ahead. You must bring a model to work on and copies of all your qualifications for us to keep on file and send to the bodies that accredit our courses, such as BABTAC.
Once you have commenced work as a trainer for us, we will then hold anual assessment days where we can update all trainers on different skills or new course details etc.

You will be expected to fund the travel and accommodation for the assessment days yourself, but we will supply refreshments and snacks throughout the day.

INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE TRAINERS - FULLY QUALIFIED

For this role you need to be fully qualified in Anatomy and Physiology, and also Indian Head Massage. We do not use Aromatherapy Oils on our course so this is not an essential qualification but might be useful.

As with the Nail Technician Trainers, you will be expected to train groups of students, or one to one students in their own homes or salons etc. Therefore you must be confident in your approach to people, and be able to communicate effectively. Ideally you will have a teaching qualification or be working towards one.


Currently we are recruiting for Trainers in IHM, but we do find that this course is not as popular as our other courses so you may not receive a great deal of work to begin with.
