All Occasion Nails About Us

Firstly I would like to tell you a bit about my Company. My name is Rowena Mackintosh and I started All Occasion Nails, as an established Company in December 2004.
Before this I ran my own mobile nail technician business and had a lot of regular customers. I eventually gained enough experience and began to train for other companies. I did this for about 2 years, alongside running my own business and being employed, so I was quite busy. After 2 years of training experience and 2 years of nail technician experience, I decided to see if I could run my own training company, and to be perfectly honest with you, I didn’t really believe I could, not then anyway. I started gathering together material for training manuals, designing logo’s & setting up a website. I began to get all the things I needed to start a training company. Firstly, I gained accreditation from The Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists, then BABTAC, then ANT and Professional Beauty.

After running a few courses myself, I advertised for a trainer and then began to offer group courses with her help. I now have many trainers all over the UK that work for All Occasion Nails, and I am always looking for experienced trainers or students who have the potential to be a trainer in the future.
I have had 2 children since December 2004 but have still managed to keep the Company up and running and to date we have been very successful.

I love the work we do with young people from the likes of Connexions, YMCA, SCA, Positive Future Projects and more, as it gives me a sense of achievement to know I am helping them to learn a new subject. I really could have done with something like this when I was younger so I know how much we can help.
We have also worked within a few colleges helping students studying beauty, to gain knowledge of nail technology to support their studies. The Prince of Wales Trust has also provided some of our students with funding throughout the years.

I like to get involved with as many of the courses as I can, but with a young family it’s not possible for me to do them all which is why I have a team of expert trainers, who are all highly qualified and enthusiastic in their subjects.
